We identify items that are suspicious and run Asbestos Tests to see if they contain asbestos. Some items need to be removed while others can be made safe. A report will be provided, identifying all the problems and the best way to take care them.
Although it has many uses and is cheap to make, Asbestos use has declined because it causes lung cancer, mesothelioma, and other health problems that hurt lung function. The most hazardous asbestos fibers are not big enough to be seen. When inhaled, they lodge in the lungs forever.
Asbestos fibers are released into the air when disturbed by construction work. It is not common to breath in fibers when the material has not been broken down and released into the air.
Only testing from a Certified Asbestos Inspector can determine the presence of asbestos.
Asbestos has been employed in a number of different uses since its creation. Many of the which include:
Blown-in attic insulation
HVAC Duct Insulation
Window Caulking or Glazing
Corrugated Heavy Duty Panels
Tile Glue (also called "Mastic")
We are available to schedule an Asbestos Inspection 24/7!
