New Jersey Asbestos Inspections
In older homes, asbestos may be found in many building materials, both inside and outside, such as:
Vinyl floor tiles, plaster, and pop corn ceilings
Insulation; around boilers and pipes, inside walls, and attics installed as late as 1990.
Siding and roofing
Artificial materials used in gas fireplaces
There are Asbestos Test Kits, but nothing is as accurate as a visit from a certified Asbestos Inspector. The best way to know for sure if you have asbestos is a certified asbestos inspection.
New Jersey Mold Inspections
Mold can grow on interior building surfaces and on furnishings, eventually damaging the materials it is growing on and may produce health problems.
Individuals sensitized to the presence of mold can call us for inspection and testing prior to purchasing or renting a home or apartment!
According to the Environmental Training Institute, Inc., in most cases it is advisable to use different companies for testing and remediation to avoid conflicts of interest. The safest way to test for mold is to have a Mold Inspection from a Mold Inspector who is not your Mold Remediator.
A Mold Inspector is the easiest way to be completely certain if there is Mold on your property.

New Jersey Lead Inspections
Older buildings and homes may contain lead-based paint. Cracked lead-based paint and dust can cause severe health and developmental issues in children, particularly those 6 years and younger.
The CDC recommends the testing of homes built before 1978. Contractors are legally responsible to test for lead-based paint prior to doing remodeling work on any homes built before 1978.
If lead has been detected, the area must be sealed off from the rest of the house. After the remodel is finished, a certified dust wipe sampling is necessary to ensure the area is safe for occupancy.
Only a Lead Inspector can give recommendations on how to address any lead problems in the home.
